It examines the philosophy submitted to mankind by the great philosopher Aristotle.The aim is, first, to indicate the inseparable connection existing between Philosophy of Law, Po- litical Philosophy and Moral Philosophy. All these fields of Philosophy are interlinked intheAristotelianworkandbydefinitionwithinthedisciplineofPhilosophy.Second, to provide an overviewof the basic jurisprudential works of the philosopher, notably the Politics, Nicomachean Ethics and, sporadically where necessary, Rhetoric. Third, some fundamental issues raised in the Aristotelian works are duly analyzed, such as thepoliticalconstitutionsofancientGreecealongwiththe idealonesdraftedbyAris- totle, the basic similarities and differences among the Aristotelian jurisprudence and the Platonic political philosophy, and the role of the philosopher as political leader.
