The Conference brought togetheran interdisciplinarygroupofdistinguishedexperts intheareasofbioethics, law and medicine. Its purpose was both to highlight the risks which the widespread application of the new technology poses on persons’ who are related to the MAR methods (e.g. gamete donors, commissioning parents, surrogate mothers) and their fundamentalrightsandtopromotethescientificdiscussionontherelevantcomplex legal issues arising at an alarmingly frequency in the daily praxis.
