Cyprus Administrative Law Fundamental Principles - Judicial Review Iliana Nicolaou , Professor of Public Law Petros Michaelides , Attorney-at-Law, Lecturer in Law at Neapolis University ISBN 978-960-622-918-3 Abstract: Administrative Law in Cyprus is somewhat peculiar as although it is formu- lated and developed in a Common Law jurisdiction, it parts from the Anglo-Saxon origins of general Cypriot Law and is modelled around the not so familiar in Cyprus, Continental Law system. Its procedure however is of general nature and often the Civil Procedure Rules apply. The book consists of two parts. The first part provides an analysis of Cyprus Administrative Law principles as they have been codified by the Law on General Principles of Administrative Law L158(I)99. The second part relates mainly to the interpretation and application of each of the provisions of Ar. 146 of the Cyprus Constitution in judicial review proceedings with references to relevant case law. © 2019, NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI S.A. 23 Mavromichali str. | 106 80 | Athens | Greece T +30 210 3678 800 | F +30 210 3678 819 www.nb.org | info@nb.org
