Συμβάσεις που κατάρτισε η Διεθνής Ναυτική Επιτροπή Οι πολυμερείς ναυτιλιακές συμβάσεις ουσιαστικού δικαίου υπήρξαν, έως το 1970 περίπου, κατά κύριο λόγο έργο της Διεθνούς Ναυτικής Επιτροπής ( Comité Maritime International – CMI/ΔΝΕ ) 113 . Συνέβαλε αποφασιστικά στην αμοιβαία εξοικείωση και προσέγγιση των διάφο- ρων ναυτικών δικαίων. Συγκροτείται από σωματεία ή άλλης μορφής ενώσεις, που έχουν συσταθεί σε διάφορες χώρες και ανέρχονται σήμερα σε 52, τις Εθνικές Ενώσεις Ναυτικού Δικαίου (βλ. ειδικότερα για την ιστορία, τη λειτουργία και το έργο της ΔNE, H.
