XII Notes on Contributors She has studied European Culture in the Hellenic Open University and has a Master in Science (MSc) in Cultural Organisations Management from the same university. She has also attended virtual seminars in Human Resources Management and in Basic Communication Principles in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently attended two e-learning programs of the Kapodistrian University of Athens, Public Management and Moral Thinking & Action. She speaks English and Spanish and her hobbies are reading, theatre and museum visits. Kokovidou Sofia was born in Kilkis in 1969. In 1991 she graduated from the faculty of Financial and Social Studies of the University of Macedonia. In 2019 she completed her Master in the Administration of Cultural Units in the Hellenic Open University. Since 2008 she has been working as a professor in Financial Sciences in the Secondary Professional Education. The last three years she has been teaching and supervising in the 1st Professional Highschool of Kilkis the subject «Employee of Administrative and Financial Services». Since 1995 she has been keeping the accounting books in small family businesses in the private sector. She is really sensitive regarding the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the labor market and in her free time she offers her assistance in the best way. Korka Tonia studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and completed her postgraduate studies in International Legal Studies (Sector of Private International Law & Comparative Law) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She earned her PhD in Comparative Law from the Law School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 2019 with the thesis “Intangible Cultural Heritage; Comparative Legal Study”. Currently, she works as a Legal Officer/Assistant Legal Rapporteur for the European Asylum Support Office at the Appeals Authority in Athens, Greece. Plaka Aikaterini is a sociologist. She graduated from the Department of Sociology of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and completed her postgraduate studies in “Cultural Organizations Management” at the Hellenic Open University where she was granted a Fellowship of Excellence. She received two years of specialization in Local Government and Local Development (1998-2000). Since then, she serves the Public Administration in the fields of Culture and Social Policy in positions of responsibility. She has extensive experience in refugee / immigrant issues as she served for seven years (2011-2017) as Chair of the Appeal Committees of Ministry of Interiors (Decree 114/2010) on the examination of asylum applications in the second degree. Her recent research interest focuses on issues of social and cultural integration of refugees/immigrants into the host country which was the subject of her postgraduate thesis.
