The Hellenic Independent Public Procurement Authority on Remedies Review The catalyst for the rapid resolution of disputes from the award of public procurement Michalis Ι. Chasiotis Attorney At Law, LLM in Law of the Economy and of the Enterprises ISBN 978-960-654-577-1 Abstract: The Hellenic Independent Public Procurement Authority on Remedies Review (AEPP) is an independent administrative remedies-review body, chosen by the Greek legislator in order to troubleshoot the various scaffoldings of the previ- ous legislative regime in resolving disputes from the award of public procurement, which took place at a slow pace, with the result that both the private and, above all, the public interest are harmed. The ultimate goal of the present monograph is to highlight the important role of the AEPP in the current environment it was placed, by answering the key question, whether it handled the most common legal issues which arise over time during the procurement procedure more effectively, reliably and staffed and therefore, whether it adequately responds to the timely clearance of the bulky matter that has been (and is being) brought before it in a way that meets the expectations of the State and the economic operators.
