Ioannis Papadakis, Panayotis Alexakis
with the cooperation of Zacharias Bragoudakis
Abstract: The book introduces the reader to the essential concepts of
money and credit. Using economic analysis tools, it presents the role,
the characteristics and the importance of money. It deals with the
definition of money, and its price - purchasing power, as well as the
demand for and the supply of money, their determinants and how they
are combined for money equilibrium. Then, it views money equilibrium
in terms of the classical and Keynesian approaches, concerning its
