Civil Procedure: Case Studies
Kostas Koutsoulelos
Attorney-at-law
Abstract: This edition includes 60 case studies covering most parts of Civil
Procedure (General Part, Law of Evidence, Enforcement, Provisional Meas-
ures, Special Proceedings etc.) along with reference to substantive law (Civil
law, Commercial law etc.). Many of these case studies have been used in the
past as exam questions for applicants to Greek Law Schools and the National
School of Judges. They are based on case-law and on those procedural issues
most often raised in practice or that derive from critical aspects of the proce-
dure. The analysis follows the method of judicial decision-making, with a view
of enabling students, lawyers, future judges and any other interested parties
understand how procedural rules work in practice.
