Abstract: The book presents the basic elements of Greek Law. In its contents
the reader will find a concise description of several aspects of the Greek legal
order. The book starts with an introduction in basic legal definitions, such as
legal norm and law, and proceeds further with a description of Constitutional
Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law and
Labour Law, while there are brief comments on European Union Institutional
Law. The aim is that the reader will absorb a brief, though concrete, view of
the above legal notions.
