Taxation of not-for-profit organizations - 2nd ed.

Fotodotis Malamas,

Lawyer

Abstract: This text provides a comprehensive overview of not-for-profit organi-

zations, Greek foundations, associations and non-governmental organizations.

Their mission is dedicated in a social or charitable cause. To this end, any surplus

income is used to achieve their mission. However, the legal structure of not-for-

profit organizations may have tax implications that may deprive them of finan-

cial resources that are necessary to meet their social or charitable cause.
