Abstract: The purpose of this research is to provide a global overview of the
legal work of Georgios Filaretos and to make his pioneering work better
known to the general public. The book includes his legal opinions, parliamen-
tary speeches and studies of issues related to local government bodies, taxes
and duties, succession law, as well as Criminal Procedure.
