Abstract:

This volume covers the amendments to the provisions of Presidential

Decree 34/1995 on commercial leases, introduced under Law 4242/2014, along

with the provisions of Law 4335/2015 introducing amendments to the procedural

treatment of renting disputes. Commercial lease issues that are no longer deemed

relevant or have previously been the object of extensive analysis are not examined

in great detail; instead, priority is given to the analysis of other issues which remain

relevant, such as the possibility of obtaining a judicial order adjusting rent under

Articles 388 and 288 of the Greek Civil Code, which very often constitutes the relief

sought in the framework of claims processed in the renting disputes track.
