Special Disciplinary Law

Nikolaos Pantazis

President of Administrative Court of 1st instance

Abstract:

The objective of this book, named “Special Disciplinary Law” is the

systematic presentation of the disciplinary provisions which are applicable

in the host categories of civil servants and officials of the State, who are

not included in the framework of the statute n.3528/2007, but are framed

to special statutes, for each category (members of the judiciary and judicial

staff, military and police personnel, mayors, doctors in public hospitals etc).

In addition, this book presents the different disciplinary provisions which are

applicable to professionals covered from the Code of Conduct and organized

in chambers or similar bodies or Bar Associations (private doctors, lawyers

etc). In these categories the disciplinary control is made for breaching the

conduct relating to the discharge of professional duties or serious breach of

the general principles because of the protection of the public interest.
