Abstract:

This is the third book of the series “Technical applications of ad-

ministrative law for lawyers and engineers”. It focuses on harbors and exam-

ines, among others, Laws 2971/2001, 2932/2001, 2160/1993, which lay

down the rules concerning harbors and examines them from the perspective

of both a jurist and an engineer. The first part of the book analyzes the vari-

ous concepts of the different types of harbors and the administrative bodies

that implement the pertaining procedures, whereas the second part is dedi-

cated to the technical application of the aforementioned rules (i.e. which

construction works are permitted, the concession of certain rights in a harbor

to other legal entities etc.)
