Abstract:

This volume is dedicated in honor of Prof. Iakovos Farsedakis,

Emeritus Professor of Criminology at Panteion University and former Dean of

the School of Law at the European University of Cyprus. Professor Farsedakis

has served European University of Cyprus for six years and has greatly

contributed to the establishment and development of the Law Department

and subsequently of the Law School of the University. This honorary volume

consists of a series of twentyone legal monograph publications, written by

his former colleagues at the European University of Cyprus on current issues

of the law The largest aggregate of treatises in this volume deals mainly with

penal law and criminology issues, in which field Prof. Iakovos Farsedakis has

contributed so much to scientific progress, gaining worldwide recognition.
