Cyprus Criminal Law

General Part: An outline (II)

Charis Papacharalambous

Associate Professor, Law Dept., UCY

Abstract:

This book forms the 2nd part of the Cypriot Criminal LawTextbook for

the students of the Law Department of UCY. Continuing the 1st part, it contains

doctrine and case law as to the special forms of crime, i.e. attempt, participation

at crime and concurrence of crimes. Due attention is given to criminal forms

of liability like conspiracy, organized crime and types of collective wrongdoing.

Apart from the Cypriot case law the book refers also to other doctrines within the

common law tradition, such as the North-American theorizing on concurrence or

the ‘felony murder’ construct.
