Criminal Procedure Law

Argyrios Karras

Abstract:

The continual legislative interventions in the Greek Code of Criminal Proce-

dure and the field of Criminal Procedure in general have rendered this fifth edition of

the book “Criminal Procedure Law” necessary; all amendments up to those introduced

under Greek Law No. 4478/2017 have been taken into account. The analysis of the

relevant subject-matters is structured in two main sections (Actors in the administra-

tion of criminal justice – The process of administration of criminal justice), featuring

the actual text and a commentary of all articles of the Greek Code of Criminal Proce-

dure in their consecutive order. This work is complemented with references to relevant

literature (in Greek and in other languages) and an alphabetical index of terms. It

constitutes in every respect a comprehensive aid for both lawyers and any other person

involved in the application of the rules of criminal procedure.
