The criminalization of child pornography

Abstract: There is no doubt that child pornography is one of the most severe con-
temporary crimes with dangerous aspects and a continuous tendency to spread
all over the world. In this book, we approached the international framework of
the crime genesis the doctrinal investigation of its criminalization, the interpre-
tive approach of Article 348A CC (Greek Criminal Code) and the formulation
of cohesive suggestions (de lege ferenda proposals) for the improvement of the
provision -which balances between the necessary criminalization of the child
pornography and the protection of the liberal character of our criminal law.
