Business valuation methods
Nikos Sgourinakis
Economist (Athens University of Economics and Business)
The present book published by “Economiki Vivliothiki” and titled:
“Business valu-
ation methods”
, can be characterized as an attempt to grasp the meaning of the
entity’s intangible value in order to quantify the measure of its capacity to pro-
duce and sustain future profits. Our effort is focused on methods that present
a simple and practical concept, in contrast to those who demonstrate an over-
sophisticated approach and often lead to either underestimated or overvalued
results. General accepted models in business valuation are fully presented and
analyzed.
