Abstract: The book presents the constitutional institutions in England / United
Kingdom and the United States. The introductory part identifies the basic points
of convergence between the respective institutions. The chapters for each country
that follow have separate sections for the political and constitutional history,
the constitutional texts and institutions and the constitutional law literature. The
book ends with a concluding section, where points of divergence are discerned.
In the Appendices of the book, the reader can find key constitutional texts trans-
lated into Greek. The book concludes with two indexes, by subject-matter and by
names, and a list of bibliography.
